Sinclair Lewis Writers’ Conference
FOR THIRTY+ YEARS, the Sinclair Lewis Writers’ Conference has helped aspiring writers of all levels and genres better understand their craft. Through lectures, workshops and social events, this annual conference provides learning and encouragement from the best minds in the industry. One of the longest-running, most respected writers’ conferences in the Midwest is back in Sauk Centre for its 34th year in October 2024!
Sinclair Lewis Days
This year's theme: Margaritaville on Main Street. Channel your inner Parrot Head, throw on your Hawaiian shirts, and a little throw back to all things Jimmy Buffet. Mark your calendars, it's sure to be a good time!
Four days of fun for all ages. Craft Fair, Family day in the Park, Parade, Ice Cream Social, 5K and kids one mile Run, Miss Sauk Centre Pageant, Soap Box Derby Races.

The third Friday of June, July and August we will be hosting a food truck in each location for the community to enjoy. Each food truck will benefit a different organization. We will match up to $500 of the sales and donate it to the respective organization. The food trucks will serve from 11 am - 2 pm.
Chalk in Sauk / Art on the Avenue
CHALK IN SAUK is a FREE, two day art festival with entertainment, food, art vendors, and family fun!
There will be 10 professional chalk artists creating live on the streets featuring internationally known chalk artist Shawn McCann.
A giant mandala and children’s area will be available for all to color on.

Concerts in the Park
Each week a different performer fills the park with music.
Limited seating is available. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit and listen to free Concerts in the Park.
